Our 6-Tier Shoe Rack Just Made Wirecutter’s 2026 Hall of Fame

We’re thrilled to share some news: Yamazaki Home's Tower 6-Tier Shoe Rack has been named to Wirecutter’s 2026 Hall of Fame.

For anyone who has ever tripped over a pile of sneakers by the front door, this one feels personal. We designed our racks to make everyday spaces calmer and more beautiful, and it means a lot to see a team as rigorous as Wirecutter’s recognize that.

What Wirecutter Loved

Home-decor writer Dorie Chevlen called the rack an "investment-worthy piece, slim enough to tuck into a closet yet good-looking enough to stand on its own in a room." The review also noted that the six tiers make good use of vertical space, which is what makes the rack work in a compact entryway and a giant walk-in closet alike.

A few highlights from the review:

• Fits between 18 to 24 pairs of shoes. Six tiers adds up to a lot of storage with a very small footprint.
• A wooden top that earns its keep. The tabletop is a natural landing spot for keys, sunglasses, and the day’s mail.
• Open design that goes beyond shoes. The rack includes hooks to store tote bags, umbrellas, and various accessories.

The review also noted that the 6-Tier Shoe Rack has been “a staff favorite before we even named it an official pick.” We love to hear it.

Thank You

To the Wirecutter team, thank you for the thoughtful recognition. And to everyone who has welcomed our pieces into their homes, this honor belongs to you too.
