Best Small Kitchen Storage Solutions: 2 Steps to Transform Your Pantry

Struggling with cluttered kitchen counters and awkward storage spots? Discover how Shoko G. uses Yamazaki Home's Slim Rolling Wagon and Countertop Rack with Drawer to make organizing groceries, supplements, and teas effortless — even in small spaces.

Black slim rolling wagon from yamazaki home adding storage between a fridge and the wall in a modern kitchen. It holds various pantry items like teas, spices, and oils.

I’d like to recommend my favorite storage items for organizing kitchen groceries.

I used to have a larger wagon in my kitchen to store supplements and other groceries, placed right in front of the dishwasher. But every time I needed to open the dishwasher, I had to move it out of the way. Then I found the Slim Rolling Wagon, which fits perfectly into a narrow gap along the wall and it doesn’t block the dishwasher door at all.

Despite its slim look, it offers plenty of storage space. The shelf is just the right width for a large protein powder container, and the bottom shelf is ideal for soda bottles.

I keep most of my supplements and tablets bottles there, and I love how everything stays aligned and visible, making it easy to find what I need. Since each shelf is set at a different height, I can neatly organize bottles by size. The top shelf adds even more storage space—perfect for keeping coffee and tea leaves within easy reach.

Another favorite is the Countertop Rack with Drawer. I use it to store a variety of teas that the Rolling Wagon cannot accommodate. The drawer perfectly holds standard tea box sizes, and the sleek design pairs beautifully with my black kettle. I also appreciate that it keeps all those small items tucked neatly out of sight.
