This winter, we brought Apto, our new brand, to Shoppe Object and left inspired by the incredible community of designers reshaping how we live at home.
We're still buzzing from an incredible Shoppe Object, where we had the opportunity to connect with wholesale partners, journalists, and fellow design enthusiasts who share our passion for functional, beautiful home goods.
Unveiling Apto: New York-Designed Home Organization
The highlight of our time at the show was introducing Apto, our upcoming line of New York-designed home goods. Apto represents a fresh chapter for Yamazaki Home—bringing our signature minimalist aesthetic and space-saving solutions to a new collection of home organization essentials that enhance everyday living.
Seeing the response to Apto's functional design and clean lines reminded us why we love what we do. Every conversation reinforced our belief that thoughtful organization can transform living spaces, making them more beautiful and livable.
Mark your calendars: Apto officially launches April 2nd! Subscribe to our mailing list to stay updated on the launch and be the first to explore the full collection.
Design Inspiration All Around
One of the joys of Shoppe Object is discovering the incredible work of fellow exhibitors who are pushing boundaries in design and craftsmanship. We were particularly inspired by several standout brands whose aesthetic vision and quality align beautifully with our own:
Wooj Design
Wooj creates home goods designed by humans and robots in Brooklyn, NY. All of their products are made in house: printed, assembled, and shipped from their studio in Brooklyn, NY. We are obsessed with their wavy lamps and cordless lanterns!
Helena Simon
Helena Simon turns fleeting flowers into heirloom-quality brooches. Her silk floral brooches are fabricated at a world-class, fourth-generation floral atelier in New York using the highest quality fabrics and materials. Our team immediately fell in love with the Violet Cluster and the Camellia.
Oats & Rice
Oats & Rice is an organic cashmere accessory brand dedicated to maintaining the sustainable cashmere supply chain. Their bucket hats and scarves were a welcome sight given the freezing temperatures and piles of snow outside.
KINTO

KINTO is a Japanese home goods brand that creates kitchen and home products to enrich your everyday life. Fun fact: In 2024 Yamazaki Home partnered with Kinto for an in-store giveaway event.. Many of our team members use KINTO water bottles everyday!
David Zwirner Books
David Zwirner Books is dedicated to publishing the highest quality art publications, from monographs and historical surveys to artist books, collected writings and interviews, and more. We loved exploring the ekphrasis series which is dedicated to publishing rare, out-of-print, and newly commissioned texts as accessible paperback volumes. A few of our team members are still tempted to buy the entire 31 book collection!
Skater John
Skater John is an original character created by Tokyo-based artist Shibachan. According to Shibachan, Skater John is a “New Yorker riding both the board and the beat, symbolizing freedom”. We think Skater John should meet <our Yamazaki Home mascot, Tidy! Since they are both New York-ers we think they will get along!
The creative energy at shows like Shoppe Object reminds us that we're part of a larger community of makers and designers committed to elevating the everyday through beautiful, intentional products.
Let's Continue the Conversation
To our wholesale partners and retail buyers: we're excited about the possibility of bringing Yamazaki Home's beautiful organization solutions to your stores.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, asked thoughtful questions, and shared in our excitement about Apto. Your enthusiasm fuels our commitment to creating home goods that make life more organized, beautiful, and intentional.
